Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent in Indianapolis to deliver exceptional guest service from arrival to departure. You will greet guests, verify reservations, register them in the system, and ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs while addressing inquiries with a friendly, efficient approach.

The role requires strong verbal and written communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests on arrival, register in the system and verify reservations.
• Promote and enroll guests in the loyalty program and provide member benefits.
• Process payments during check-in/out, manage a house bank, and report daily receipts.
• Assist guests with service requests (keys, safety deposit boxes, charges).
• Respond to guest complaints with solutions and escalate as needed.
• Answer calls and manage reservations efficiently.
• Assist with shuttle/transportation services.
• Help guests with luggage on arrival/departure.
• Be knowledgeable about local area and hotel amenities.
• Handle laundry, wake-up calls, messages, mail, and faxes per guest requests.
• Prepare for VIP guests and follow SOPs.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative team attitude and effective communication.
