Highgate Hotels’ Residence Inn Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Qualifications

• College coursework helpful.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must communicate clearly with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest inquiries regarding restaurants, transportation, and entertainment.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Know rates, packages and promotions listed in the Red Book.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups.
• Be aware of closed out and restricted dates.
• Obtain necessary information for room reservations and follow rate quoting.
• Be familiar with hospitality terminology.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate Front Desk computer system and complete shift paperwork.
