Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Guest Services Associate to warmly welcome guests, assist with registration, offer information about the resort and local attractions, and help create memorable vacations from check-in to checkout.

You will handle reservations, provide room rate quotes, process cash and card payments, balance cash, and ensure folios reflect correct charges while maintaining accuracy and a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the registration process from check-in to checkout, providing information about the resort and area attractions.
• Issue unit keys and provide room rate quotes; confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups.
• Process cash and credit card transactions following established procedures; balance cash receipts and perform bucket checks.
• Complete all check-out procedures and verify charges/credits in guest folios.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns quickly and completely.
