Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Montgomery, AL is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service at the hotel’s front desk. You will greet guests, provide information about rooms and amenities, and utilize computer systems to check in and check out guests.

The role emphasizes upselling, accurate payment processing, and collaboration with housekeeping and other departments. Flexibility in shifts and a professional appearance are required to ensure a welcoming experience for all

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.
• Must be familiar with a computer and able to type.
• Experience in hotels or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly, sincere welcome and maintain eye contact.
• Provide information about the hotel, rooms, rates and amenities.
• Upsell to generate additional revenue and maximize occupancy and ADR.
• Process registrations, verify guest details and payments, and check in/out.
• Answer calls with a positive tone and follow brand standards.
• Respond to guest complaints professionally and document resolutions.
