Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, efficient guest service at our Montgomery property. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/out, answer inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth stay.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, handles payments accurately, and maintains professional appearance while working flexible shifts. Prior hotel front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English and communicate with guests and team members.
• Familiar with computers and able to type.
• Familiar with office equipment (copier, printer, fax, telephone).
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and maintain positive communication.
• Provide information about hotel, rooms, rates and amenities.
• Process registrations and payments according to procedures.
• Balance cash handling and banking.
• Maintain uniform and grooming standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate as needed.
• Contribute to selling techniques to maximize occupancy and revenue.
