Job summary

Ascent Hospitality in Montgomery seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and provide information about rooms, rates and amenities. You will upsell services to improve occupancy and revenue while adhering to brand standards.

Collaborating with housekeeping and other departments, you will ensure rooms are ready on time and that guest needs are met with professional, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• English language proficiency required.
• Comfort with computer systems and typing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide information about rooms, rates and amenities.
• Handle registration/check-in and check-out processes; verify payment methods and group reservations as needed.
• Upsell services to maximize occupancy and revenue while following brand standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism.
