Job summary

ARK is seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Attendant to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive and lasting impression throughout check-in to check-out.

The role requires strong guest-focused customer service, the ability to handle reservations, provide hotel information, and coordinate with staff to resolve issues promptly. This is an on-site position with compensation noted as hourly.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process
• Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings.
• Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions.
• Operate the hotel switchboard, answer inquiries, and transfer calls as needed.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
