Job summary

ARK hotel is seeking a positive and professional front desk agent to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute keys and room assignments, and answer general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay.

The compensation is $17 hourly. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, with hospitality experience and proficiency in reservation systems.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hospitality experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience handling phone calls and stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests.
• Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready.
• Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information.
• Mitigate customer complaints as needed.
• Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct.
