Job summary

Extended Stay America in Clearwater is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, check-in/out, and process payments in line with company guidelines. The role requires maintaining front desk operations, supporting breakfast setup, and ensuring safety and security standards across areas of the hotel.

The GSR will respond to guest requests, promote ESA value, and work to convert inquiries into reservations while upholding ESA’s service culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate in English to interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Proficient operation of the property management system technology and audit functions.
• Understand and comply with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math in all units of measure.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and resolve issues using ESA's Make it Right process.
• Assist and respond to guest requests with follow-through.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments and departures per guidelines.
• Handle cash, credit card and accounts at the property.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
