Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in New Orleans is seeking a warm Front Office Agent to greet guests, check them in, and set the tone for a memorable stay. You will blend professionalism with genuine hospitality in a fast-paced lobby.

You will promote hotel services, handle inquiries, assist with payments, and support smooth operations across the front desk. One year of guest service experience and Opera familiarity are preferred; weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Experience with Property Management System (Opera) preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Assign rooms meeting guest preferences.
• Obtain and verify payment information per hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the front desk and lobby.
• Handle emergencies professionally with guest and team safety in mind.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
