Job summary

theWit Hotel in downtown Chicago seeks a polished Guest Service Agent to join our front office team. You will assist guests, handle luggage, and provide local area guidance in a welcoming, refined manner.

Responsibilities include front desk support, lobby upkeep, prompt guest responses, and collaboration with colleagues to ensure seamless service. Night shifts and weekends may be required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling to their rooms.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes at the front desk as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment related to guest services.
