Job summary

Brightline Trains in Florida is seeking a Train Attendant to join the Onboard Service team. You will assist Guests with seating, serve food and beverages, handle carts, and ensure safety and comfort during the journey.

The role requires a High School diploma, six months in guest service or food & beverage, ability to work varied shifts and weekends, and you may earn about $20 per hour plus tips with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in guest service, sales, or food & beverage service.
• Must be able and willing to work any shift, as well as on weekends and holidays.
• Must complete Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certifications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests in locating seats and escort as appropriate; confirm seat assignments.
• Provide Food & Beverage service to Guests during the train journey.
• Prepare and serve beverages and snacks; adhere to standards and engage with Guests.
• Handle escalated Guest concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in passenger areas and restrooms.
• Process credit card transactions via mobile POS device.
• Train newly hired attendants on Brightline’s service steps and safety standards.
