Job summary

Brightline Trains in Florida is seeking a Train Attendant to join the Onboard Service team. You will assist Guests, serve food and beverages, manage carts, and ensure safety and satisfaction during the journey.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months in guest service or F&B, flexible shifts including weekends/holidays, and completion of a Food Handler certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in guest service, sales, or food & beverage service.
• Must be able and willing to work any shift, as well as on weekends and holidays based on operational needs and train schedules as necessary.
• Must be able to complete Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests in locating their seats and escort them as appropriate.
• Provide Food & Beverage service to Guests throughout the train, using QR ordering or cart service.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and snacks adhering to Brightline standards; engage with Guests.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following company standards and verify IDs.
• Handle escalated Guest concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Maintain awareness for Guests with special needs or heavy luggage and assist as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate with Onboard team to ensure readiness for departure and arrival.
