Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, keeping stations clean, and maintaining service areas.

Provide excellent guest service while complying with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include assisting with dining room tasks, greeting and seating guests, handling takeout orders when needed, and aiding with beverage prep and service when required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and courteously.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Notify managers of quality or service concerns.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones, and packaging takeout orders.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
