Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, aiding dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. All team members provide exceptional guest service to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Typical duties include assisting with greeting and seating, handling takeout orders when needed, and supporting beverage preparation and service. Training is provided; 18+ and Food Handler’s Card required where applicable.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older and obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor expo line and assist with dine-in trays.
• Clear and sanitize tables and service areas to standard.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact kindly with guests and report concerns to management.
• Assist with greeting and seating guests and handling takeout orders.
