P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. All team members provide excellent customer service for exceptional guest experiences. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist.

The role emphasizes delivering food promptly, maintaining stations, and helping with greeting and seating, with potential for growth and a busy, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating and floors according to standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and report quality or service concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating, phones and takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
