Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a Service Assistant to help create a memorable dining experience for guests. You’ll stage the dining area, greet guests warmly, and coordinate with other teams to ensure service runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include delivering food, answering questions about the menu and wine, maintaining a clean and stocked workspace, and supporting colleagues during peak hours. A passion for hospitality and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Read, write and understand English.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand up to 10 hours.
• Thrives in a team-based environment and delivers guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with hospitality and friendliness
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Adhere to service standards and food handling procedures
• Deliver food orders to tables and for carry-out orders
• Engage with guests about food, wine, and facilities
• Maintain knowledge of the menu
• Keep dishes stocked and silverware ready
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area
• Communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
• Follow checklists and SOPs for opening, mid-shift and closing
