HEI Hotels is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent at The Westin Reston Heights in Reston, VA. You will greet guests, check them in/out, handle payments, and provide accurate information about outlets and local attractions.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer and cash-handling skills, and the ability to stay composed during busy periods. Hotel experience is preferred and professional communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to perform moderately complex math with accuracy using a calculator.
• Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and perform essential duties.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to recognize signs of emergency situations and respond appropriately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, professional welcome and assist with arrival and departure.
• Complete registration using the computer system and verify guest information, rates, and payment methods.
• Process payments, balance a house bank, and handle vouchers or travelers checks.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close accounts at checkout and address guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain calm during busy periods and emergencies, following procedures.
