Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dulles in Herndon, VA seeks a Front Desk Agent (Full Time) to assist guests with arrival and departure, manage registrations, and handle payments with accuracy. You will promote hotel brands, answer inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to stand for extended periods, and comfortable use of a computer system.

Qualifications

• Hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to perform moderately complex calculations with accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to input and retrieve information using a computer system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a positive check-in experience.
• Input and retrieve guest information, confirm details and rates.
• Handle payments, currency exchange and post charges to accounts.
• Answer phone calls promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Resolve guest concerns and situations with calm, professional judgment.
