Job summary

French Lick Resort is seeking a friendly guest services professional to greet guests, handle check-in with accuracy, and promote hotel programs. You’ll work with resort teams across PBX, concierge, and bell podium coverage to ensure outstanding service in a premier Midwest destination.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, maintains a professional demeanor, and can resolve guest concerns while adhering to policies. Background check and drug screening are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with guests and employees.
• Pleasant telephone demeanor and professional behavior required.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public and staff.
• Basic computer knowledge and comfort with front desk systems.
• Employment contingent on background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in, verify information, note special requests and ensure proper credit.
• Complete guest transactions thoroughly and promote hotel programs.
• Interact with resort staff professionally and assist other departments with information.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and resort policies.
• Maintain house bank and post charges, refunds, and cash handling according to procedures.
• Communicate pertinent information to front office managers and supervisors.
• Solicit guest feedback via comment cards and cross-train in PBX, concierge, and bell podium coverage.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.
