Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room keys and escort instructions to Bell person or guest.
• Date-stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
• Transmits and receives messages using telephone, fax and switchboard.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and local attractions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
• Processes payments and deposits for guests.
• May assist with reservations and special requests.
