Job summary

HHM Hotels seeks a Guest Service Agent to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and manage reservations using the PMS system. You will handle payments, assist with luggage, and contribute to high guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This role emphasizes service excellence, accuracy in billing, and collaboration with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with their needs.
• Register and assign rooms to guests.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments and make change.
• Transmit and receive messages using the phone or PMS.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor if necessary.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes.
• Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and audits.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and improve scores.
• Practice safe work habits per MSDS and OSHA standards.
