Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet guests, register them into rooms, and provide courteous service according to brand standards. The role involves handling payments, reservations, and using the PMS system to communicate and update guest records.

Responsibilities include answering guest requests promptly, resolving issues, securing valuables, balancing accounts, and supporting breakfast or luggage tasks during peak periods. Flexibility to work holidays and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and assist with their needs.
• Register guests and assign rooms.
• Establish methods of payment and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills and collect payments.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor if necessary.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes.
• Balance accounts and conduct audits.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality.
• Assist in breakfast area or luggage handling during peak periods.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
