Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent for the Residence Inn Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village, CO. The role delivers attentive front-desk service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

You will greet guests, answer inquiries, assist with reservations, and maintain hotel standards. A hotel or related-field experience, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and flexibility with hours are preferred for this full-time hourly position

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Effective communication with employees and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk.
• Maintain operation of PBX console and hotel standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Handle packages, mail and messages for guests and meetings.
• Follow cash handling and rate-quoting procedures.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and promotions.
• Balance and close shift paperwork per standards.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist guests with safe deposits.
