Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent in Miami. You will greet guests, register them, and finalize charges while ensuring an exceptional stay.

You’ll operate the computer system, code room keys, process payments, and provide local information with a courteous, professional approach. The role requires strong English communication, accurate math, and the ability to maintain composure under busy hotel conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use a calculator and perform moderately complex math without error.
• Ability to interact with customers with patience and diplomacy.
• Ability to read, listen to, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Input and retrieve guest information, assign rooms, and code keys as needed.
• Handle payments, cash, and vary vouchers with accuracy and courtesy.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and assist guests with local information.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and, if needed, escalate to a supervisor.
• Maintain neat, clean front desk and support areas and follow safety procedures.
