Job summary

IHG in Georgia is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/out, process transactions, and provide local insights to ensure a seamless stay. You’ll upsell services, manage guest requests, and uphold safety procedures while representing the brand with a warm, professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in front desk or guest service, a high school diploma, good math and computer skills, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of front desk or guest service experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in local language preferred but not essential.
• Proficient reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Upsell hotel services and inform guests of local attractions.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and questions.
• Maintain safety procedures and report incidents.
• Be a brand ambassador and stay informed about daily events.
