Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Downtown is seeking enthusiastic Front Desk Agents to join our guest services team. You will greet guests, check in/out, and provide exceptional service while maintaining hotel standards and loyalty program knowledge.

Flexibility is required to cover 1st shift (7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). Previous hotel experience is a plus, and the role involves daily reports and guest issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong guest-service orientation and ability to communicate clearly with guests and teammates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for guest interactions and reports.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, assign rooms, and handle special requests.
• Be knowledgeable about hotel operations, policies, and loyalty programs.
• Assist guests with questions; resolve problems promptly and courteously.
• Handle cash handling and banking procedures at shift end according to policy.
• Deliver daily reports to the accounting office and email them on time.
• Maintain front desk and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
