Job summary

Lodgco is seeking a Room Attendant for the Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Downtown to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort. You will follow established procedures, restock supplies, and ensure rooms meet quality standards.

The role requires physical stamina for long shifts, attention to detail, and reliability to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction. This position may involve weekend hours and variable shifts; prior housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Satisfactory criminal background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain room assignments from supervisor
• Clean rooms according to established procedures
• Know correct procedure for entering a guest room
• Check room for damaged furniture and equipment
• Restock cart and return to storage area
• Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and storage areas
• Report deficiencies toMaintenance Engineer daily
• Be alert to hazards and follow safety procedures
• Adhere to Lost and Found procedures
• Provide the highest quality of service to guests
• Follow safety policies for guests and employees
• Report unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Adhere to proper key control procedures
• Attend and participate in staff meetings
