Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Proficient in handling all aspects of customer relations.
• Well accustomed to cash handling procedures and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
• Checking in arriving guests courteously and efficiently; confirm reservation information and room preferences.
• Inform guests where their room is, amenities, and restaurant locations during check-in.
• Assign guest rooms to meet requests when possible.
• Serve as Concierge and provide information on hotel and local dining/shopping.
• Post charges, payments, and adjustments to guest folios; maintain accuracy of records.
• Handle reservation calls and update guest status in systems.
• Maintain daily shift reports and cash out at end of shift.
• Coordinate room status with housekeeping for early/late check-ins and special requests.
• Operate PBX professionally to connect guests and manage messages/faxes.
• Upsell rooms and hotel amenities to maximize occupancy.
