Backstory, a leading AI answers platform for sales teams, is hiring a Sr. Director of GTM Operations. You will own metrics, systems, cadences, and commercial operations for a small, AI-leveraged team.

The role reports to the SVP of Customer Value and consolidates comp design, territory planning, pricing approvals, lead routing, and CRM administration under one operating system. You will present quarterly results to the Executive Leadership Team and drive confidence in the numbers.

Qualifications

• Builder instinct: built functions, systems or processes from scratch.
• Applied AI: understands AI tooling and integration in workflows.
• GTM operating model fluency: measurable business model change.
• Data architecture literacy: understands CRM, data flows and instrumentation.
• Forecasting authority: ARR forecasting and confidence to leadership.
• Commercial operations depth: CPQ, territory planning, pricing approvals.
• SaaS metrics fluency: ARR, NDR, CAC, pipeline coverage.
• Modern data tooling: SQL, dbt, BI tools.
• Executive presence: present conclusions to ELT, push back when needed.
• Experience: 10+ years in revenue/GTM ops at growth SaaS.

Responsabilités

• Instrument the full customer journey from pre-funnel to expansion.
• Define GTM data model, funnel stages, and metrics definitions.
• Connect product usage and billing data to revenue stack.
• Govern CRM fields and data quality with automation.
