Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Manager on the GTM Finance and Strategy team to own ARR and GAAP revenue forecasting across subscription and usage-based streams. You will partner with Analytics, Revenue Accounting, and GTM leadership to deliver insights that drive executive decisions.

You’ll help scale forecasting infrastructure, oversee models, and provide strategic financial guidance in a high-growth, cross-functional environment. This hybrid role supports Denver and Oakland offices.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, revenue finance, or investment banking, with a strong focus on revenue forecasting.
• Expert-level modeling skills (Excel/Sheets) with a driver-based, auditable model approach.
• Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting; BI tools (Looker) and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Strong data storytelling and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Revenue Modeling & Forecasting: Own and re-evaluate GAAP revenue and ARR forecast models across subscription and consumption streams.
• Usage-Based Revenue: Develop forecasting for consumption revenue, including overage and migration between pricing models.
• Business Partnering: Advise COO, CFO, Analytics; deliver insights to improve efficiency and growth.
• Strategic Decision Support: Analyze investments, pricing, and packaging; quantify revenue risks and opportunities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecast cycles; collaborate with Revenue Accounting on close and variance analysis.
• Performance Analysis: Own revenue/retention metric packages (NRR, ARPA, cohort trends) and present to CFO/Board.
• Forecast & Reporting Infrastructure: Use AI Tools, SQL, Python to automate data pulls and improve topline forecast transparency.
• Executive Reporting: Create automated executive-ready dashboards and narratives for Finance leadership.
• Team Leadership: Guide GTM FP&A team and raise modeling standards.
