Job summary

Fivetran, Inc. is seeking a Manager on the GTM Finance and Strategy team to own revenue forecasting and ARR models across subscription and usage-based revenue. You will partner with Analytics, Revenue Accounting, and GTM leadership to deliver insights that inform executive decisions.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Oakland, CA, with two in-office days per week and options for Denver as well. You will drive forward-looking planning, build auditable models, and enable data-driven strategy

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, revenue finance, or investment banking with focus on revenue forecasting.
• Expert-level modeling skills in Excel/Sheets with driver-based, auditable, well-documented models.
• Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models preferred

Responsibilities

• Revenue Modeling & Forecasting: Own and re-evaluate rolling GAAP revenue and ARR forecast models across subscription and consumption streams.
• Usage-Based Revenue: Build forecasting approaches for consumption revenue including committed vs. overage usage and model migration.
• Business Partnering: Advise COO, CFO and analytics teams with actionable insights to improve efficiency and growth.
• Strategic Decision Support: Analyze pricing, packaging, investments, and forecast-to-actual tracking.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual planning and monthly/quarterly cycles with close reconciliation.
• Performance Analysis: Own NRR, ARPA, new business mix, ROI, and cohort trends reporting to executives.
• Forecast & Reporting Infrastructure: Use SQL/Python to automate data pulls and improve topline forecast accuracy.
• Executive Reporting: Create automated dashboards and narratives for leadership and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Guide and raise modeling standards within the GTM FP&A team
• Other: 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or related fields with strong revenue forecasting focus.
