Job summary

Mural is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our early GTM team in New York. You will be the first human a future customer meets, driving top-of-funnel activity alongside founders and AEs, qualifying accounts with an ICP-driven approach, and turning signals into real relationships.

You will use AI-assisted research to map warm paths, customize outreach, and craft compelling first touches. Success depends on warm, human communication and owning a single metric: qualified

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years as a BDR/SDR in fintech or payments.
• Working fluency in how money moves across borders.
• Hungry and tenacious with proactive follow-up.
• Experience using AI tools to work faster.

Responsibilities

• Book meetings that matter and qualify inbound/outbound leads.
• Know the ICP better than it knows itself and tailor outreach.
• Use AI to research accounts, map paths, draft first touches, then personalize.
• Lead with warmth, write like a real person, and avoid mass outreach.
• Run daily loops: source, qualify, touch, log, book, hand off.
• Be the feedback loop for GTM and own qualified meetings booked.
