Job summary

Stripe is seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to build and scale the Competitive Programs team within GTM. You will coordinate across Sales, Product, Market Intelligence, Pricing, and Finance to define and execute durable operating models for the most critical competitive initiatives.

You will drive the design, launch, and lifecycle management of P0/P1 programs while coaching a team of program managers and maintaining strong relationships with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in program management, business operations, GTM strategy, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of people-management experience.
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional programs from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and durable operational handoff.
• Experience managing global programs across regions, segments, and product lines.
• Strong executive communication skills, including decision-oriented reporting, facilitation of senior working sessions and ability to communicate risks or trade-offs directly.

Responsibilities

• Set the team’s SOKRs, portfolio priorities, work plans, and success measures; allocate program-management capacity across highest-priority needs.
• Develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team of program managers.
• Directly lead design, launch, and lifecycle management of centrally staffed P0 and P1 programs.
• Coach program managers in designing, launching, and managing central programs.
• Build and improve the program-management layer of Stripe’s competitive OS, including playbooks, logs, reviews, and reporting.
• Partner with Market Intelligence to translate signals into prioritized program actions with accountable owners.
• Create clear, decision-oriented updates for senior leadership on health, risks, outcomes, and recommendations.
• Lead identification and operationalization of cultural change around competing fiercely.
• Apply program-design capabilities to other strategic GTM priorities as needed.
