Job summary

HiveWatch, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a GSOC Operator for its Global Security Operations Center. You will monitor video feeds, respond to routine and emergency calls, dispatch security officers, and coordinate with 911 when needed, 24/7.

The role emphasizes calm under pressure, strong communication, and collaboration with clients’ leadership to mitigate incidents. A minimum of 3 years in a security/operations center and reliable connectivity are required; day shift 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a communications or operations center or related role.
• Must be willing to learn unfamiliar technical systems.
• Strong customer service/interpersonal skills, especially during times of crisis.
• Must have reliable communication means (email, cell phone).
• Must have reliable transportation (public or private).
• Must be willing to sign confidentiality agreement and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Represent HiveWatch principles of customer service and professionalism.
• Utilize multiple software platforms to answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alerts, and dispatch security officers.
• Prioritize and make decisions under stress.
• Maintain records of communications and events concisely.
• Collaborate with HiveWatch and client leadership to prepare for and recover from incidents.
• Communicate information to partners using established channels.
• Contribute to ongoing evaluation and improvement of operations and systems.
• Maintain composure during critical incidents and emergencies.
