Job summary

HiveWatch in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead a GSOC shift, manage staffing, assignments, performance, and training. You will act as escalation point for Operators and Analysts and supervise the shift when Supervisors are absent.

You will perform high-level intelligence analysis, guide client security leadership during incidents, and coordinate with HiveWatch and client teams to prevent threats and protect people and property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a security operations center, intelligence analysis, emergency management, or a related role.
• At least 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or managing a shift or team preferred.
• Demonstrated experience directing operational staff during critical incidents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across various platforms (email, Slack, phone, etc.).
• Ability to coach junior team members and produce concise reports from verbal or written sources.
• Must be willing to learn unfamiliar technical systems.
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen if offered employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the on-duty GSOC shift, direct the work of Operators and Analysts, and serve as the escalation point for operational decisions.
• Assign and prioritize monitoring, intelligence, reporting, dispatch, and incident-response work.
• Adjust staffing, break schedules, and work assignments based on client risk.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with HiveWatch and client requirements.
• Lead shift briefings, debriefings, and post-incident reviews.
