Job summary

HiveWatch, a tech-forward security company in El Segundo, CA, seeks a GSOC Operator to support multiple clients globally. You will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch security staff, monitor access and video feeds, and coordinate information flows 24/7 to help prevent incidents and threats.

The role requires composure under pressure, excellent written and verbal communication, and teamwork with client leadership to respond and recover from incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in communications or operations center
• Willing to learn unfamiliar technical systems
• Strong customer service, especially during crises
• Reliable means of communication (email, cell phone)
• Reliable transportation (public or private)
• Willing to sign confidentiality agreement and maintain confidentiality
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Represent HiveWatch core principles of customer service and professionalism
• Answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alerts and video feeds
• Dispatch/notify security officers and liaise with 911 centers
• Prioritize and make decisions under stress
• Maintain concise records of communications and events
• Collaborate with client leadership to prepare for and recover from incidents
• Communicate information to partners using established channels
• Contribute to ongoing evaluation and improvement of operations
