Job summary

Leadout Capital seeks a Director of Growth Planning to own the investment decision framework, build robust business cases, and govern major growth initiatives. You will work with Finance, Sales, Product, and Pricing to align inputs and drive executive-level decision-making.

You will lead scenario analysis, set governance cadences, and report on progress, variances, and benefits realization to senior leadership. Mentorship of a small analytics team is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, FP&A, corporate development, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis skills.
• Experience running governance processes (investment committees, planning councils, or program reviews).
• Proven ability to influence C-suite and VP-level stakeholders across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the business case process for major growth and investments, including revenue, cost, payback, and risk assumptions.
• Set standards and templates for business cases for comparability and decision-readiness.
• Run governance cadence for planning and investment reviews and track progress.
• Report progress and benefits realization to executives and recommend course corrections.
• Lead trade-off discussions with senior stakeholders to reach clear decisions.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Product to align inputs behind each case.
• Provide sound recommendations amid imperfect inputs and articulate risks.
• Prepare executive materials for planning cycles and leadership reviews.
• Build and mentor a small team of planning and analytics talent.
