Job summary

UHY International in the United States seeks a Business Development Director to identify and pursue new opportunities, build client relationships, and drive growth across the firm’s services.

You will lead client acquisition, manage key accounts, collaborate with partners and service teams, and develop cross-selling strategies while representing the firm at industry events.

Strong communication, strategic insights, and a proven track record in accounting or financial services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business development, sales, or related role.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work with partners and service teams to align BD efforts.
• Cross-selling Services: Identify opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and trends.
• Proposal Support: Create compelling proposals for potential clients.
• Networking and Business Events: Represent the firm at industry events and build a professional network.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance.
