Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and drive revenue. You will cultivate referral partnerships, manage discovery meetings, and align prospects with our HR, payroll, and risk management solutions.

This role requires 3+ years of proven sales performance, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to travel locally. You’ll work with a collaborative team that values growth, relationships, and delivering measurable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a top performer in sales or related field, with a proven track record.
• Experience in ASO or Payroll services sales is a plus.
• Commercial Insurance Sales experience, especially Workers Compensation, is valued.

Responsibilities

• Find, engage, and close new client prospects.
• Build a channel of referral partner relationships to generate qualified leads.
• Conduct 5+ business development meetings per week to build a referral network.
• Align prospective clients with BBSI's business units to determine best-fit.
