Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) is seeking Market Development Managers to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new client prospects while building a strong referral network.

You will present BBSI’s knowledge and value to potential clients and partners, and align efforts with service teams to onboard successful customers. Ideal candidates have a proven sales track record, leadership experience, and the ability to develop relationships with executives and business owners

Qualifications

• Proven track record of prospecting, closing sales, and bringing on new clients.
• Demonstrated leadership, including development of teams and individuals.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners, referral partners, executives, and decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Find, engage, and close new client prospects.
• Build a channel of referral partner relationships that generates qualified leads.
• Outline and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Build relationships with key clients and represent the best of our product.
• Collaborate with service teams to move opportunities into closing and onboarding.
• Understand target client base and focus development efforts accordingly.
• Drive top line revenue for the branch while supporting bottom-line management.
