Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI) is seeking a Market Development Manager to drive growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new client prospects.

You will develop a channel of referral partners and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets, representing BBSI to potential clients with a consultative, results-driven approach. The role requires leadership experience, relationship-building skills with business owners and decision makers, and the ability to present BBSI’s value

Qualifications

• Proven track record of prospecting, closing sales and bringing on new clients.
• Leadership experience with development of teams and individuals.
• Ability to build relationships with business owners, referral partners, executives and decision makers.
• Experience delivering presentations to groups at all levels of an organization.
• Consultative mindset and ownership mentality.
• Experience in the PEO, ASO, Payroll, or Insurance industries a plus.

Responsabilités

• Find, engage, and close new client prospects.
• Build a channel of referral partner relationships that generate qualified leads.
• Outline and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Build relationships with key clients and represent the best of our product to them.
• Work with service team to align prospects and move them into closing and onboarding.
• Understand BBSI's target client base, and focus business development efforts accordingly.
• Drive top line revenue for the branch while supporting efforts to manage bottom line.
• Clearly communicate value and expectations to clients and referral partners.
