Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team in servicing customers, manage staffing during peak hours, and assist in hiring, training, and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and managerial certifications are required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Experience in retail or automotive parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and drive program adherence.
• Ensure staffing levels during peak hours and assist in hiring and training activities.
• Manage windows of operation by coordinating with the store manager and supporting leadership tasks.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently while following policy.
