Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and to lead the team in servicing customers. The position includes managing the store during the manager’s absence and opposing shifts, hiring tasks, coaching, and ensuring policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and adherence to service programs.
• Assist the Store Manager with staffing, goal setting, coaching, and training compliance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure proper handling of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and order processing.
• Ensure returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, security, and store maintenance tasks.
