Job summary

Inspire Federal Credit Union is seeking a results-driven Business Relationship Manager to grow our presence in the communities we serve. You will actively prospect for new relationships, manage business and consumer deposits and lending opportunities, and connect members with Inspire products and services.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in business development or sales, with strong consultative selling skills and experience in financial services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of business development and/or sales experience.
• Experience in financial services, banking, credit unions, or a related industry.
• Proven B2B and/or B2C sales experience with strong consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, network, generate qualified leads, and develop lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and new business opportunities.
• Serve as a primary relationship contact for business members, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase product usage.
• Generate new business deposits, consumer deposits, and lending opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners and community contacts to generate new leads.
• Identify member and prospect needs and recommend appropriate Inspire products and services.
• Onboard new relationships and help members maximize the products, services, and digital banking solutions available to them.
• Partner with branch teams and other departments across Inspire to support business development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Research and develop new sales leads for business accounts, commercial lending, consumer lending, deposits, and other financial services.
• Maintain an active presence in the community by participating in networking events, business organizations, industry groups, and community functions.
• Represent Inspire professionally while strengthening brand awareness and generating new member and business opportunities.
• Promote current products, services, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
• Track prospecting, calls, visits, referrals, follow-ups, pipeline activity, and results, and provide regular reporting to management.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and complete required compliance training.
