Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and grow a high-performing team. You’ll mentor staff, manage shift schedules, and uphold guest experience and brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in a leadership role in quick-service or retail, with the ability to close the restaurant and handle inventory, safety, and financial tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar leadership role in food service or retail.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand and walk for full shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
