Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Norfolk, VA seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, manage labor, inventory, and safety, and deliver the fast, friendly service guests expect.

You’ll recruit and develop a high-performing team, close the restaurant a couple nights weekly, and pursue opportunities for advancement within KBP Brands. Competitive bonus and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Restaurant General Manager experience with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Own restaurant performance and profitability by managing labor, inventory, cash controls, security procedures, and financial results.
• Build leadership by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers.
• Coach and develop employees to deliver operational excellence and strong restaurant results.
• Complete required inventory counts and use results to help control costs.
• Create a clean, welcoming restaurant where guests receive friendly service and quality food.
