Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations in North Tazewell, VA. You will uphold Sonic standards while guiding the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.

You will also manage inventory, food safety compliance, cash handling, and guest issues, partnering with the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in an Assistant General Manager role in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic's brand reputation.
