Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I to support the operation and maintenance of cement plant equipment and implement CBM programs. This role is part of the Build4Growth program, a 14-month development track designed to provide foundational knowledge of cement plant operations.

You will work with suppliers and plant staff to keep equipment running, develop maintenance routines, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 0-3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and plant staff to ensure reliable operation.
• Monitor reliability-driven maintenance including PMs and vibration analysis.
• Create PMRs and BOMs for new equipment and optimize PMR development with planners.
• Perform root cause analysis, Pareto charts, and FMEA to reduce repeat failures.
• Drive improvements in MTBF for major equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement for equipment availability and reliability.
• Coordinate SAP PMR activities with maintenance planners.
• Provide training to maintenance teams on reliability concepts.
