Job summary

DNV seeks a Head of Department (VP), Growth, Strategy & Market Development, to drive the next phase of growth for our Energy Management business. This leader will build a national, multidisciplinary team responsible for winning new business and developing scalable client solutions.

Reporting to the SVP, you will lead priority pursuits, strengthen pricing, quality, and operational excellence, and influence the direction of a rapidly evolving energy market from our Newark, NJ hub and other U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required.
• An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales-growth objectives by developing new client relationships.
• Partner with regional leaders to retain and renew current client business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand demand-side services across utility, commercial, and industrial markets.
• Promote a consultative sales approach grounded in long-cycle, consultative sales, and relationship building.
• Identify and translate customer, market, regulatory, technology, competitive trends into effective strategies.
• Lead priority proposals by shaping competitive positioning, pricing, and client-focused solutions.
